The Grinch Who Stole Christmas

The Grinch discovers there’s more to Christmas than he bargained for in this heart-warming and hilarious musical, based on Dr. Seuss’ hugely popular best-selling books made famous by the film adaptions. Starring Griff Rhys Jones as Old Max ,this record setting Broadway sensation features the songs You’re A Mean One, Mr. Grinch and Welcome Christmas.

The Big Snowy Christmas

The Big Snowy Christmas is a heartwarming tale about a brave little bear who helps to save Christmas.

Puppets, enchanting music and ‘a magical snowy setting’ will all feature in the ‘interactive show especially for little bears aged three to six and their grown-ups’. There’s even a surprise visit from Santa.

It’s only on for a short time at Bury Met from December 20 to 24, so tickets, costing from £11, are likely to sell out fast. There are special schools-only performances on December 19 at 10.30am and 1.30pm. Teachers and group leaders can contact The Met on 0161 761 2216 for details of prices.

The Gruffalo's Child

Follow the Gruffalo’s Child on her adventurous mission in Tall Stories’ enchanting adaptation of the much-loved picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

Let your imagination run wild with songs, laughs and scary fun for everyone aged three to 103.

The Slightly Annoying Elephant

Returning to HOME in Manchester following Wow! Said the Owl and Red Riding Hood & the Wolf, Little Angel Theatre are back with this hilarious story by comedian and author David Walliams, brought to life through puppetry. The 50-minute show, with no interval, is running from December 5 to December 29.
