ENERGY efficiency grants are being made available to small and medium sized firms.
Qualifying outfits in Bolton can apply for anything from £1,000 to £12,500 from the GC Business Growth Hub.
Grants are being awarded on a first come, first served basis and can be used for anything from new LED lighting to heating equipment upgrades and replacement drivers or motors.
For the large-scale grants, companies can bid for 50 per cent funding, which would require three independent quotes and an on-site review and would cover installation costs.
Those winning out will be able to prove how the scheme will generate carbon savings and provide value for money.
For small-scale grants, for projects in the region of between £2,000 and £5,000, only one quote would be required but installaion would not be covered. For more details go to www.businessgrowthhub.com online
