TWO people were treated for smoke inhalation after a flat fire in Blackburn.
The incident took place at 3.25am on Ruthin Close.
A Lancashire Fire Service spokesman said: "Three fire engines from Blackburn and Darwen attended a fire in a ground floor flat.
"Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire and clear the smoke.
"Two casualties were treated for smoke inhalation by ambulance staff."
