A funeral home in Sale is holding it’s 15th annual Christmas Remembrance Service encouraging families and friends of deceased loved ones to pay tribute to them this festive season.

The service will be held at The Avenue Methodist Church, Wincham Road, Sale on December 6 at 6.30pm.

It is a multi-denominational service open to people from all faiths or no faiths, all are welcome.

Funeral Arranger Dawn Williams said: “I invite all the previous bereaved families from the last 12 months to attend the service but it is open for anyone.”

The funeral home supplies the orders of service with a roll of honour and invites families to light a candle in remembrance, and the congregation sings carols along with the choir. At the end of the service a collection is made for the Salvation Army and everyone is offered a cup of tea or coffee with a mince pie.
