Five men have been charged in connection with a vast number of armed robberies.
Each man has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, and the group is due to appear before Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court later today.
Michael Burke, 38, of Winchester Road in Stretford, Daniel Adamson, 33, of Hurst Avenue in Sale, Robert Lewis, 45, of Keswick Road in Stretford, Connor Kedie, 21, of Rookfield Avenue in Sale, and Christopher Burke, 34, of Greenwood Close in Timperley have all been remanded in custody ahead of the hearing.
The charges relate to 29 armed robberies across Greater Manchester and Cheshire between May and November this year.
