CHARITIES who could help distribute spare computers to people in need are being urged to come forward.
James Peacock Property, based in Stockton Heath, is searching for new owners for its five-year-old computers.
Staff at the property management company in London Road are hoping that a charity will be able to help distribute them to families in need in Warrington to save them going to landfill.
Gerry Mason-Rolls, operations director, said: "Our letting agency has grown rapidly and we needed an upgrade of our computers, but we knew there was a lot of life in our old equipment.
"We are really grateful to Henry from Henry’s Laptops for refurbishing the seven computers so that they can be given to someone who needs them.
"Now all we need to do is find the new owners."
The computers will be wiped clean and ready for a new family to take for free.
If you are a charity that could distribute the computers on the company's behalf, call Jen Perry on 243366.
