AN URMSTON preacher is to launch his first book next month, drawing on his work as a Christian minister and life coach.

Graham Smallman, 64, will unveil his new book, Blog 51, at The Spread Eagle pub in Chorlton on Wednesday 13 November.

The book deals with ten main themes including feelings, finances, work, home and spirituality.

Graham will speak at the launch about his motivations for writing the book, its purpose, and his writings’ relevance to biblical understanding.

A member of the congregation at St John’s Church in Flixton, Graham previously worked as a postman, heating engineer, part-time taxi driver and project worker with Adullam Homes.

He completed his ministerial training in 1981 and currently works as a Community Minister, life coach and author.

His experiences have informed Blog 51, which discusses the coaching process and insights from Graham’s pastoral work.

Graham said: “I was raised in a Christian home and with my parents regularly attended a local church. I continued to learn and mature as a young Christian and have gone on to embrace greater faith as a family man with the encouragement of my wife, Julie, and others around me.”

Graham’s book is available from Amazon as an e-book and paperback, and he also manages a blog, Inspire2Achieve, at grahamsmallman.wordpress.com. The book costs £12.99 but will be available for £10 at the unveiling.
