TWO men have been charged after a family was threatened during a break-in.
Officers were called to a house in Dunham Road, Warburton, after offenders smashed through a glass patio door which machetes and a crowbar and threatened a family.
The men attacked one of the family members before stealing jewellery, cash and left the scene in the victim's Mercedes AMG.
The incident took place at around 8.50pm on Monday, September 16.
Stuart Watson, 38, of Kingsway Park, Davyhulme, has been charged with robbery and bailed to appear before Manchester Magistrates' Court on Thursday, November 7.
Jack Yarwood, 33, of Water Street in Salford, has been charged with aggravated burglary and handling stolen goods.
He has been remanded to appear before Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court on Tuesday, December 17.
A third man, aged 32, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and has been released under investigation.
