A video of a group of male singers taking part in a flash mob in Marlow has recently gone viral on Facebook.

The video shows members of the Wycombe Orpheus Male Voice Choir singing an acapella version of Whitney Houston’s, ‘One Moment in Time’, by the Steve Redgrave statue in Higginson Park.

The video was originally published on YouTube on September 22 but was reposted on Facebook on October 13, with the four-minute and 28-second video being viewed thousands of times.

The clip of the choir singing the song, which was the official anthem of the 1988 Summer Olympics, was taken on July 7.

People have responded positively on social media following the video’s popularity with one user saying: “Wow this made me smile. Love the guy's passion in the shorts especially guy in the light top. He was on top form giving everything he had. Well done everyone.”

Another added: “Absolutely Brilliant, love the way they look like they’re randomly walking by. Great voices.”

Another said: “Oh my goodness! Took my breath away a little bit! Wonderful.”

Another added: “Well my husband and father in law sing in this choir and it is a fantastic choir! Always looking for men to join! So ladies if you would like a few hours to yourself on a Wednesday evening then send them here!”

The video was reposted on Facebook by Catriona Slack.
