A trampoline centre in Westhoughton is hoping that its brand new inflatable zone will have customers bouncing through the door.

AirVault at the Wingates Industrial Park has brought in a mammoth, custom-designed obstacle course which has been shipped in from China.

The course includes Total Wipeout style balls, ‘Ninja’ run-up walls and huge slides packed into a 12 metre squared area.

Mark Denison, the owner of AirVault, said that the facility is now the only hybrid inflatable and trampoline arena in Greater Manchester.

He added: “A lot of the customers have said that it’s added something and people are loving it.

“The kids activity centre has evolved so you have to move with the times and keep putting stuff up. It’s added a whole new dimension.”

The course, which weighs in at over a tonne, now supplements other attractions at the arena including its numerous trampolines and arcade games.

Such is the size of the piece, Mark says that they initially thought it wouldn’t fit in the arena.

He said: “We just stood there and thought it was too big. We really thought ‘Oh my God, is this going to fit?’”

The inflatable, which stands several feet off the ground, is not the only new change that is to be made at the park.

Mark added: We’ve got a new booking system because more and more people are booking online, so it’s dead simple now. It’s cheaper if you book online too.”

The park will also soon be introducing a new section for smaller children including slides and a mini climbing wall.

There are also plans to bring in kids disco nights, beginning on November 1 and running.

A one hour jump session costs £.8.95 if booked online and an extra pound if bought in person during peak times.

Under 6’s can get in for £4 at any time, while an extra hour at the park costs less than the first.

The park provides free WiFi along with a café that serves a selection of refreshments.
