The credits rolled on Bolton’s annual cinematic celebration of short films tonight as the Bolton Film Festival closed with a packed event at The Light Cinema in the Market Place.
After 150 film screenings, industry talks, masterclasses, networking events and discussion panels crammed into just three days, the film festival concluded with an awards ceremony.
Bolton actor and comedian Diane Morgan was the evenings special guest. The performer, best known as TV’s Philomena Cunk and currently starring in BBC sitcom Motherland, took part in a question and answer session before handing out the awards.
