Police are appealing for information after masked men stole a car in Trafford.
At around 9pm on Monday, September 16, a group of men armed with a crowbar and machetes forced their way into a house on Dunham Road, Warburton.
The men threatened a family, including two young children, before stealing the family car and a number of personal items.
The car was later recovered in Partington.
Detectives from GMP’s Stretford CID office are investigating the incident and are appealing for anybody with information to come forward.
As a result of enquiries so far, two warrants have been executed and a number of items recovered. A 32-year-old man has also been arrested on suspicion of robbery before being released on bail.
