Saturday, Delph and Dobcross Cricket Club, 8pm, Neil Diamond Tribute
Dave Radstock performs all the favourites from the iconic American singer/songwriter. Entry is free. Sounds like great value.
Saturday, Little owls Farm, Grains Bar, Stage 8 of the Tour of Britain
Farm is open for visitors to meet and feed animals (£3.50 per head, or £12.50 for a family) and for free car parking for people wanting to watch peloton race through Saddleworth.
Sunday, Farmers Market, Saddleworth Museum and Gallery, High Street, Uppermill 9am to 2pm
Farmers market organised by the “Friends” of the museum. Currently running every second Sunday of the month, there is free entry. One stall/gazebo outside the museum entrance with others inside the community gallery. Products change but there are usually breads, cheeses, olives, teas, coffees and chocolates often high in “artisan” quality. Text or call Oliver on 07761 261349 to book a stall for the event.
