GET up-close and personal with wild elephants, lions and giraffes as the UK’s first virtual nature reserve comes to intu Trafford Centre from August 22.

Wild Immersion is an educational, environmentally friendly initiative which aims to reconnect people with the natural world through the world’s first virtual nature reserve.

Through an exclusive 360° virtual reality film, visitors will be immersed in an amazing up-close experience with wildlife and nature, taking you on a journey into nature’s majestic territories, offering an extraordinary, intensely vivid experience.

The goal of the virtual reserve is to raise awareness about an urgent global challenge: the need to conserve wildlife, wild environments and biodiversity.

Alison Niven, Centre Director at intu Trafford Centre, said: “Wild Immersion’s Virtual Reserve is a new and exciting concept that we’re thrilled to welcome to the centre. It promises to offer a truly unique and exhilarating experience that will make the whole family smile with awe.”

Adrien Moisson, founder of Wild Immersion, added: “Following the successful launch of the Virtual Reserve in Paris, we’re proud to announce the official UK launch at intu Trafford Centre. With its high number of visitors, it’s the ideal location to spread the message about nature conservation to a wide audience.”

Wild Immersion is based in The Orient and will be open from August 22, 12pm to 8pm every day. Tickets cost £5.99 each.

The experience is only suitable for children over five, and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
