A TEENAGER has been charged after a boy was stabbed in Stretford.
Sonnie Carter, aged 19, has been charged with Section 18 assault, possession of an offensive weapon and theft of a bicycle.
The charges relate to an incident where officers were called to School Road, Stretford, to a report that a boy had been stabbed.
Police attended the scene shortly before 1.50pm on Wednesday, July 17.
The 17-year-old boy who was stabbed has since been released from hospital.
A boy, aged 13, two men aged 21 and 28, and a woman, aged 22, who were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, have since been released under investigation.
Carter, of Ennerdale Road, Stretford, appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on Friday.
He has been bailed to appear at Manchester Crown Court on August 16.
