MARKET Place shopping centre was evacuated a short time ago .
In what is believed to have been a false alarm triggered by youngsters, cinema-goers, diners and other customers were told to leave the premises at around 6.30pm.
However, all were able to return 30 minutes later after the building was deemed to be safe.
