A PAIR of popular crime fiction writers are to meet with fans during an upcoming library visit.

Chris Hammer and Gytha Lodge will be at Bolton Central Library, in Le Mans Crescent, to speak about their most recent work.

Mr Hammer will be speaking about his hit first novel Scrublands which follows an investigation into a priest in New South Wales, Australia.

Alternatively, Ms Lodge's book She Lies in Wait, is set in the UK and follows DCI Jonah Sheens as he attempts to uncover the truth behind the disappearance of a teenage girl 30 years earlier.

Copies of both books will be available during and after the talks, which are the latest in a number of visits by crime writers to Bolton.

This event is free to attend and is set to be held on Thursday, July 18, from 6.30-8.30pm in the library building.
