TRAINS stopping at all stations between Bolton and Preston were cancelled earlier today due to a "failure of electricity supply".
Rail operator Northern this morning sent out a warning to passengers after the issue caused a number of services to be called off.
Trains which run between Manchester Airport or Manchester Victoria and Black North were all cancelled.
Northern has since confirmed that the issue has been resolved and trains should be running again as normal.
