A TRIBUTE night has been organised featuring TV's "The Voice" finalist Linda Jennings from Horwich and Shirley Bassey impersonator Helen Hayhurst in a brithday memory of Darren Hickey who passed away in April, aged 51.
It takes place at Ridgmont House, off Chorley New Road - the venue of which Darren was co-manager - on Saturday, July 13.
Funds raised from the event will go to Bolton Neuro Voices, a motor neurone disease and Horwich Stroke Association.
Featured music will be from the 1960s up to present day and as well as an unforgettable version of Shirley Bassey's "Gold Finger" there will be a DJ set from Linda with music from the 80s and 90s. Linda was close friend of Darren's and shared a birthday on the day.
Linda told The Bolton News: "Darren was a special friend, who died way too soon. It would great to raise as much money as possible to support the amazing charities, which do excellent work. I would appeal to everyone to support this event as much as possible."
Admission to the event is by ticket only, which costs £20. To book tickets leave a private message on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/people/Darren-Hickey/100002802811737 or email enquiries@ridgmonthousevenue.co.uk or call 01204 69624
