THE TOWN centre is set to become one big playground as a youth group plans a major event.
Victoria Square will be transformed for Play Day 2019 by community service Play & Youth Bolton as part of National Play Day.
The event aims to celebrate children's right to play and enjoy themselves and will include a range of attractions including playground equipment and other family-friendly activities.
It will be held on Wednesday August 7 after schools across Bolton have started their summer holiday period.
Events begin at 11am on the day and organisers expect things to continue until around 4pm.
