AN 18-hole golf course will be built at a popular family attraction in Trafford.

Planning permission has been granted for an extension to Dino Falls Adventure Golf and Trafford Golf Centre, off junction 10 of the M60.

Owners Peel L&P, say the Jurassic-themed mini golf course will be extended with a Volcanic twist, including a six-meter-tall walk through spouting Volcano, waterfalls and even more moving dinosaurs for customers to enjoy.

Opening in late 2019, a further 110 car parking spaces will also be created to improve the free parking facility on site as well as a pedestrian link route to Old Park Lane.

Pete Styles, director of golf, at Trafford Golf Centre and Dino Falls, said: “Dino Falls is already the largest adventure golf course outside of London, and it is now set to get even bigger and better.

"Now a recognised leisure venue across the UK, we are thrilled to be extending the course for our customers (both new and returning) to enjoy and we look forward to the launch event later this year.”

The new 18-holes will wrap around the edge of the existing course and will be available to book for larger parties including birthdays, stag and hen parties and corporate events.

The attraction opened in November 2017. Trafford Golf Centre is a 57 bay driving range and also has a a licensed café and bar serving Starbucks coffee, a golf Academy with nine PGA professionals and the largest American Golf retail store in the north.
