POLICE want to speak to these two men in connection with an assault in a pub which left a man in hospital.

At about 9pm on Friday, March 8, a man in his 50s was attacked by two men after entering the gents’ toilets at the Stamford Arms, in Bowden.

He suffered facial injuries including lacerations to the left side of his scalp and eyebrow, which required hospital treatment.

Officers have now released CCTV images of the two men they want to speak to about the incident.

Detective Constable Gareth Richards of GMP’s Trafford District said: “Since this assault we have been following various lines of enquiry to trace those responsible for the assault.

“We now turn to our best asset in solving crimes like this – the general public.

“Do you recognise the men pictured? If so, please get in touch as soon as possible.

“This was a nasty assault that left a man needing hospital treatment. He has since recovered from his injuries and we’re determined to find the people who have attacked him.”
