A CRASH course teaching Trafford residents 'with no interest in economics' about economics will take place in Stretford Library.
The six-week course is designed specifically for those with no prior knowledge about the subject.
It will be done through discussion, games and debate to get to the heart of how economy influences people's lives and what can be done to shape it.
Clare Birkett, Economy’s Head of Crash Courses said: “We’re so excited to be running this course in Stretford.
"For too long economics has been done to people not with them and this has caused great harm.
"We want to work with people in Stretford to use economics as a practical tool to achieve what matters to them."
Joe Earle, Economy’s Chief Executive added: “We believe that bringing more people into economics has enormous potential to revitalise the economy, the media and democracy.”
The course will run every Tuesday between 2pm and 4pm.
The first session will take place on May 28.
