PASSENGERS at Manchester airport could still experience the knock on effects of widespread cancellations yesterday.
Despite resolving a power issue which was stopping planes from refuelling airport staff have advised that there will still be delays and cancellations today.
In a statement on their website, Manchester Airport said: "Engineers have now resolved the power issue which affected the fuel supply.
"Most scheduled flights will operate as planned today; however, we expect that there will be a small number of delays and cancellations as a result of the issues experienced yesterday.
"Please check the status of your flight with your airline.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience."
Dozens of flights were cancelled yesterday and disgruntled passengers took to social media to vent their frustration with many reporting delays of many hours.
