Our picture today shows group of visitors trying to get a look at some of the hundred fish, mainly goldfish and carp, that were were released into the refurbished ornamental pond in the grounds of Hall i' th' Wood museum in 1967. The pond, which dated from the 1930s, was replaced with a flower bed in the early 1970s.
