ALL this week events are going on to support Dementia Action Week.

Home Instead Senior Care, which provides at-home care for older people, is supporting Dementia Action Week with a timetable of nine events.

Starting on Monday at 10.30am join in the Dementia Memory Walk at John Leigh Park, meet at the bowling hut.

From 2pm to 4pm Home Instead is running a free dementia advice drop in service at Wyevale Garden Centre, Altrincham.

On Tuesday the Alzheimer's Society Walk and Talk Group is meeting at 10.30am at the Broad Road entrance to Worthington Park.

Dorothy's Memory Cafe meets the same day at 1pm at Sale United Reformed Church. Please call 0161 6119 275 to book a place.

On Wednesday enjoy a Dementia-friendly screening of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at Sale Waterside. Please call the box office on 0161 912 5616 to book.

The same day at 2.30pm the Vibrant Voices Dementia Choir is singing at The Cinnamon Club, Bowdon Rooms.

On Thursday Home Instead is running a free community dementia workshop from 10am to 11.30am. Contact Home Instead on 07377 393171 to book a place.

A musical memory cafe is also taking place at Timperley Methodist Church from 1.30pm.

Rounding off the week, Home Instead are holding a caregiver recruitment event at Costa Coffee in Timperley, the event runs from 9.30am to 2.30pm.
