FANCY being paid to travel to some of the most exotic destinations on the planet?

This dream job could soon be a reality after airline Emirates announced a recruitment day in Manchester.

The open day will be held on Saturday, May 11 at 9am at the Radisson Blu Manchester Airport hotel.

Perks of the job include free high-standard shared accommodation in Dubai, free transport to and from work, and attractive concessional travel benefits for cabin crew and their families.

According to the Emirates website, the airline have some very specific requirements for aspiring cabin crew members.

They include being at least 21 years of old at the time of joining, an arm reach of 212cm while standing on tiptoes, and a minimum height of 160cm.

Candidates must also have no visible tattoos while in Emirates cabin crew uniform, and be physically fit for this demanding role.

As well as physical attributes, Emirates are looking for positive people who are 'confident, flexible, friendly and very keen to help others'.

The website adds: "You should be determined to always perform well. And no doubt you’ll be able to manage a pretty demanding work schedule.

"Also, you’ll be culturally aware and reflect who we are – professional, empathetic, progressive, visionary and cosmopolitan."

The recruitment day will include group exercises where individuals will be asked to display these qualities.
