ALTRINCHAM-BASED business Printerland has agreed a deal to renew its sponsorship of the family stand at the AJ Bell Stadium.

The printer has sponsored the stand at the stadium since 2016 and previously sponsored the Cheadle End of Sale’s former home ground at Edgeley Park. The company’s support for Sale as a corporate partner dates back 15 years to 2004.

The deal will also see Printerland continue to build on its popular inclusivity programme, which has seen around 8,000 match-day tickets given away to local charities and community groups.

The programme aims to introduce under-represented groups in the North West to the game of rugby and another 2,000 free tickets have been earmarked for home games next season, with the Sharks Community Trust helping to give the tickets away and make the sport accessible to new audiences.

Mark Cueto, Sale Sharks’ Commercial Director and former player said: “It’s fantastic news that Printerland have renewed with us again this year – they’re a great partner; a fantastic international business and they really value their roots here in the North West.

“This new deal strengthens the existing agreement between us as long-term partners and we’re delighted that they’ll continue to be part of the Sale Sharks corporate family for the future.

“They were with us when we had a Premiership winning team in 2006 and we’re hoping to be able to enjoy the same kind of success with them in the years ahead.”

Graham Vickers, MD and co-founder of Printerland, said, “We thoroughly value our partnership with Sale Sharks and we’re very proud to be the official sponsor of the Family Stand. Seeing our brand on TV is fantastic national exposure for us – it gives us a lot of kudos."

“Rugby is a fantastic sport with the power to bring people together and I really value how we’ve been able to get so many people to see a live Premiership Rugby game. The opportunity to give back to the community in which me and my co-founder James Kight started our businesses over 25 years ago is something we have always placed a lot of importance on.”
