I HAD a lovely evening at The Venue in Urmston where I donated my time to perform at their charity rat pack concert for their three chosen charities, the Air Ambulance Fund, Blood Bikes and Francis House.

The event, sponsored by Home Estate Agents, raised around one thousand four hundred pounds and everyone had a great time.

I performed two 45-minute sets of Sinatra and the Rat Pack classics.

There was a raffle with some great prizes including vouchers to spend at Mulino Italian restaurant and Whittaker’s Chippy, tickets to the cricket at Old Trafford and in the auction there was a trip for two to Manchester United to watch a match and enjoy a complimentary meal with drinks in the Manchester Suite. This prize was very kindly donated by the McGoff Group.

It was also nice to meet and have a chat with some Wayne’s World readers who came along to support the evening and I promised to say hello to Sylvia Rigby from Urmston, so hello Sylvia!

The Mayor of Trafford, Cllr Tom Ross accompanied by his Mayoress, Cllr Anne Duffield were in attendance and they also had a great time. They especially enjoyed the photograph props of trilbies and retro microphone as you can see from this week’s accompanying photograph!

I would like to thank The Venue for inviting me to perform for them and help them to raise funds for their very worthy chosen causes.

Don’t forget my weekly video goes on the website www.allabouttrafford.co.uk every Monday at 6pm. Please keep your ‘shout outs’ and events coming in. Email them to me at devlinbookings@aol.com and I will read them all out in the video.

Your support for ‘All About Trafford’ has been fantastic and I am very grateful to you for all the well wishes. I created the site for the community so to have the support of the community is brilliant. Thank you.

See you next week!
