LOCAL children’s charity, the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT), is calling for generous sponsors from Trafford to come forward to help it raise vital funds at this year’s Ladies Lunch event.

The Farm, based in the Cheshire countryside, provides a variety of programmes for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children from all over the North West.

The needs of the children visiting range from complex and severe physical and learning disabilities, sensory impairments and terminal illnesses, through to children who act as carers for a family member, those dealing with bereavement and children who have been victims of abuse.

This year’s fundraising lunch event has a Mamma Mia theme and will take place on June 19 at The Mere Golf Resort & Spa. Tickets cost £50.

Spokesman Pippa Watton said: “This really is a wonderful event which has sold out the last couple of years so it’s a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to get themselves in front of an audience of our generous supporters.

"Securing sponsoring for events is so important as it ensures our costs are covered, meaning we can help even more children with the money raised at the event."

Tickets for the event, which cost £50 are selling fast and are a bargain at just £50.
