A BURY pub restaurant has been given a huge £500,000 makeover.
The newly refurbished pub and grill has opened at the Village Hotel Club in Waterfold Business Park, offering a revamped menu of food and drinks.
Dinners will also be able to order their meals and drinks without leaving their tables using a new app.
Mike Dixon, general manager at the Village Hotel Club Bury, said: “We’re thrilled to have opened our new Pub & Grill and welcome back old and new guests."
The extensive revamp and opening is also part of the hotel chain's nationwide The Village Green campaign.
The scheme involves 30 hotels, including Bury's, and will see them roll out a range of charity and community initiatives.
Mr Dixon said: “Creating a space for the community to socialise and make new memories is a key part of the Village Green initiative – highlighting that we’re much more than just a hotel and gym, but a place for locals and guests alike to enjoy everything we have on offer.
"As part of this dedication to the local community, we also look forward to announcing the details of our new volunteering efforts as part of The Village Green very soon.
"This will see us using the new Pub & Grill space to support charities and local groups – watch this space.”
