INDEPENDENT businesses across Altrincham have signed up to an initiative offering discounts, promotions and special offers to NHS, emergency workers and armed forces.
The scheme called “The Blue Light Card” allows NHS and emergency workers to register for a personalised card which they can then present in participating businesses.
Application to join the Blue Light Card scheme are vetted and people will have to pay a nominal amount for their personal card and access to the app.
The Altrincham businesses that have signed up the scheme are:
• The Hive, in Grosvenor Road
• Jake Shoes, in George Street
• Gran T’s Coffee House, in New Stamford Road
• Zero Gravity Float Spa, in Stamford New Road
• Bowdon Downs Clinic Chiropractors, Downs Court Business Centre, The Downs
All participating businesses can be found on the Blue Light Card app.
Businesses can join the scheme for free at www.bluelightcard.co.uk.
