A TEENAGER has been arrested after "brandishing a kitchen knife" in Sale.
The youth was apprehended by police after being spotted on CCTV wandering through the town centre with the weapon.
A taser was drawn by Greater Manchester Police's traffic officers and the youngster was then taken into custody.
Patrols tweeted about the incident at 7am today: "Traffic officers have just arrested a male juvenile in Sale after CCTV operators observed him wandering through the town centre brandishing this kitchen knife.
"A taser was drawn and he was arrested.
"The knife has been recovered."
