A MAN was viciously attacked with weapons outside his Bowdon home and the police are appealing for information.

On Thursday March 7 at around 9.45pm, four men approached the victim getting out of his car outside his home just off Green Walk, where his children were sleeping.

As he was walking to his front door, one of the men threatened him with a crowbar and demanded that he hand over his watch.

The victim told the offenders that he was not was not wearing a watch and refused them entry into his home.

The victim was hit in the face with the crowbar and punched in the head. He was then punched and kicked repeatedly as he lay on the floor.

The violent assault was only stopped when neighbours heard the man shouting for help, the offenders then fled the scene on foot.

All four are described as white, around 5ft 1l tall and of slim build. They were wearing dark clothing and balaclavas. The offenders were seen to be carrying a crow bar and a hammer, there have also been claims that one was carrying a knife.

The victim of this attack sustained facial injuries and was extremely shaken up.
