Police have been attending reports of a disturbance.
Shortly before 9.50am this morning, police were called to Eastway in Sale.
Firearms officers were in attendance at the scene and arrested a 25-year-old man on suspicion of possessing a firearm.
He remains in custody for questioning. There are no injuries reported and enquiries are ongoing.
