POLICE searching for missing Kristina Kazlauskaite are appealing directly to business owners for information.

Kristina, who has not been heard from since Wednesday, November 28, may have visited shops or other businesses in the Greater Manchester area and officers are asking owners to check their CCTV.

An image of Kristina from around 2.50pm on Thursday, November 24 was taken at the Select Convenience store in Stretford Road has been released in a hope to trace her movements but this has not yet been successful.

She is white, about 5ft 6in tall and of slim build.

She may be wearing a green parka-style coat with a fur hood, jeans and white trainers. She also speaks with a Lithuanian accent.

She previously lived in the Old Trafford and Burnage areas but may be sleeping on the streets as officers have not found her at any known addresses linked to her.

Detective Inspector Simon Akker, of GMP’s Trafford Borough, said: “While I appreciate business owners see hundreds of people come and go, I’m urging them to check their CCTV for footage of Kristina either on or after Thursday November 24.

“While we know she was in the Stretford Road area on that date, she may well be in the city or surrounding areas.

“With hundreds of square miles to cover, we need Kristina’s photo sharing as many times as possible so we can narrow down our search and bring her home safely.

“You may recognise her from the images — did you speak to her? If so, what was said? Please, get in touch with us with any information or footage of Kristina urgently.”
