A FESTIVE annual concert will be held in Hale Barns this weekend.

The concert returns to Holy Angels Church, on December 16, starting at 7.30pm, with a promise of lots of Christmas No1’s performed by local acts.

It will include favourite such as Slade, Shakin Stevens, Wham, Mariah Carey and many more.

The event, which is organised by the Hale Barns Carnival team, includes ITV’s The Voice star soprano Scarlett Quigley, who has recently performed with household names including Jennifer Hudson and Jason Manford.

Scarlett returns to Hale Barns along with Trafford rat pack singer Wayne Devlin to perform a set list full of festive favourites.

This year’s concert also features the Montage Party Band, who aim to put the extra bop into Christmas bop with a full line-up, to give those 1970s Christmas hits performed an extra wow factor.

Event organiser Max Eden said: ‘We are thrilled to have Scarlett and Wayne return for this year’s Christmas Concert, this year’s event is definitely a must for anyone who loves those Christmas chart hits that we all know off by heart."

The concert along with the other events organised by Hale Barns Events are fundraising initiatives with all profits going to building a new community hall in Hale Barns alongside Holy Angels Church.

Last year’s concert featured Stop The Cavalry singer Jona Lewie with Kaleidscope Brass Band accompanying him on stage, the organisers this year promise they’ve planned an extra special surprise.

Tickets are priced at £15 adults and £5 children; available on the door or at halebarnscarnival.co.uk
