SALE Choral Society is performing Handel’s Messiah at St Mary’s Church, Moss Lane, on Saturday, December 8, at 7.30pm.
The society will be accompanied by The Lindow Singers, the Sale Sinfonia and Richard Brocklehurst on the organ.
The four soloists are: Isla MacEwan, soprano; Lara Rebekah Harvey, mezzo soprano; Christopher Littlewood, tenor; and Thomas Hopkinson, bass. Musical director is Russell Medley, who will also be conducting.
Tickets cost £10, with children free, and are available by telephoning 07913369823, by e-mail salechoralsoc@gmail.com, any choir member, or on the door. All donations will go to the Mayor’s Charity.
