A MOTORCYCLIST is in critical condition after a serious collision last night.
The 26-year-old man crashed into the central reservation of Gilda Brook Road, near West One Retail Park in Eccles around 10pm last night (Wednesday, October 31).
He was taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Police are encouraging witnesses and people with dashcam footage to come forward.
Police Sergeant Darren Hancock of GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “The man’s family are by his bedside while he remains in hospital and my thoughts are with them.
“We need people who saw what happened or who have any vital information to contact us.
“It happened outside of the McDonald’s, which is a popular stretch of road, even at that time of night.
“Please think back to last night – were you in the area? Did you see something? Whatever it is, please call us.”
