TICKETS are still available for what promises to be Bolton's charity event of the year.

The Big Bolton Ball will be held for the first time on Saturday, November 3.

Bolton Hospice and Bolton Lads and Girls Club are collaborating for the first time to stage the event with the backing of main sponsor, law firm Cowgill Holloway.

The event will be held at the Premier Suite, at The Whites Hotel.

Prizes that will be on offer on the night during a dazzling auction of promises will include a 10-day stay in a luxury holiday home in Florida, a Porsche for the weekend and an afternoon with successful businessman John Roberts.

The event will also include food, a dance performance by Dawn Dawson Dance Academy, a light show extravaganza, a fire thrower, and a live band.

Dr Leigh Vallance, chief executive of Bolton Hospice said: “Many local people experience both of our services at often difficult times in their lives, and although on the surface it may appear we do very different things, we both exist to help local people when they need us.”

Karen Edwards chief executive of Bolton Lads and Girls Club said: “We are really excited to be partnering with Bolton Hospice.

"We share a desire to enrich the lives of those we meet and support.

"As two of the larger charities in the town it makes absolute sense to work together and bring our supporters together, as well raising much needed funds for our respective causes."

Tickets are still available to purchase at £500 per table or £50 per ticket. Telephone Grace Wood on 01204 663067.
