ARMED men raided a family restaurant and threatened staff with knives.
The masked men entered Bramley Farm carvery in Sinderland Road, Altrincham as staff prepared to close the restaurant at 11pm on Tuesday, October 9.
The men wielded knives at waiting staff and demanded to be taken to the restaurant's safe.
They ordered staff to open the safe and hand over money.
No members of staff were hurt during the incident, but they were left extremely shaken.
It is not known whether any money was stolen, but police are investigating the incident as a aggravated burglary.
Bramley Farm declined to comment on the incident.
The restaurant in Broadheath opened in July and has proved a popular dining destination for families.
