A BELOVED black Cocker Spaniel has been missing for two weeks after disappearing on a walk along the Bollin River.

Nine-year-old Toby was last seen swimming in the river on Saturday, September 22 at 12.45pm in Hale Barnes.

Jean Sims, sister of Toby’s owner, said: “He is a strong and confident swimmer and it’s not like him to disappear.

"He would normally come straight back. We have contacted the vets, put out posters, handed out flyers, searched the river and everything else we can think of.

"So many people have been so supportive and touched by what has happened.
