MOTORISTS are facing heavy delays after three crashes on the M60.
The first crash involving seven vehicles happened between junctions 11 and 10 on the anti-clockwise carriageway at around 1.30pm.
Two further crashes then happened due to drivers taking their eyes off the road to look at the first collision, police have reported.
The exit sliproad at junction 10 has been reduced to one lane, after being temporarily closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Traffic is still tailing back and drivers are being encouraged to take the junction 9 exit to the Trafford Centre to ease pressure.
The road is due to fully reopen shortly.
