TRAFFORD’s Krispy Kreme store on Barton Dock Road closed last week, but ‘doughn’t’ worry, it’s only temporary.

The store, next to the Trafford Centre, closed for refurbishment at the end of August, but will reopen at 7am on Wednesday, September 19.

To celebrate the refurbishment and the end of the summer holidays, Krispy Kreme Manchester will reopen its doors for an end-of-summer party for its customers.

The festivities will start with a ribbon-cut at 7am on opening day and continue on until 3pm. Local fans will be able to get their hands on some sweet prizes throughout the day.

Fun activities for all the family include a ‘selfie station’, complete with ‘sweet’ props for pictures, giant board games, a glitter station and free doughnut decorating kits for kids.

The newly refurbished store will produce up to 40,000 doughnuts each day, to be sold on-site and shipped to locations throughout Greater Manchester.

On offer at the new-look store will be 16 varieties of delicious, melt-in-the-mouth treats and customers will also be able to get their hands on delicious Krispy Kreme milkshakes as well as Krispy Kreme coffee.

Neil Williamson, operations director at Krispy Kreme, said:“We’re really excited to be unveiling our new-look store at Manchester Trafford.

“Our other refurbishmentss over the summer have been a massive success and we can’t wait to celebrate the grand-reopening with a day jam-packed with fun!”
