PUPILS are a step closer to securing their dream careers after an impressive 68 per cent of GCSE grades were awarded at A*-A or 9-7 at Cheadle Hulme School.

More than 40 per cent of those GCSE A*-A or 9-7 grades attained were A*, 9 or 8, with five students awarded an outstanding 11x A*s or higher and over 10 per cent of students achieving 9x A* or higher.

Seven students received grade 9s in all relevant GCSE subjects.

Topping the School’s GCSE results table, Jack Nolan and Kirsty Dickson led the way receiving 12x A* or higher (A^ is higher than A*).

Both are now looking forward to joining the School’s Sixth Form.
