Man charged with firearms offences
POLICE have charged a man in connection with a disturbance in Partington last weekend.
Michael Scott, 27, of Beech Hill Close, Wigan has been charged with three counts of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear and one count of possessing a firearm in a public place.
Police were called to reports of a disturbance at a home in Moss Lane, Partington at 1.50am on Saturday, June 30.
Scott appeared at Manchester Magistrates yesterday, Tuesday July 3, and has been further remanded to appear at Manchester Magistrates’.
A date for his next appearance has not yet been set.
At around 1.50am on Saturday 30 June 2018, police were called to reports of a disturbance at an address in Moss Lane, Partington.
