A MAN has been charged with the murders Paul Massey and John Kinsella

Mark Fellows, aged 37, has been accused of two counts of murder and one of attempted murder.

He was one of six people arrested this week as part of a joint operation between Greater Manchester Police and Merseyside Police.

Mr Massey, aged 55, know as Salford's Mr Big, was shot dead at his home in Manchester Road, Clifton in July 2015 and a murder investigation was launched.

John Kinsella, aged 53, died after he was shot while walking his dog with his partner on a footpath close to the M62 in Rainhill, Merseyside on Saturday, May 5.

The offender, who was reportedly on a pedal bike, was also alleged to have fired the gun at Mr Kinsella's partner as she fled.

The five other people arrested in connection with both deaths have been released under investigation.

Fellows was due to appear at South Sefton Magistrates Court today (Saturday).
