Pedestrians were standing on the pavement of Europa Way, Trafford Park when a speeding car drove into them on Thursday night.
A MAN has been charged in connection with the fatal crash at Trafford Park.
Scott Watkins, aged 24, of Worsley Road North, Little Hulton, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, causing death while uninsured/unlicensed, four counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, failing to stop after a road traffic collision and failing to report a road traffic collision.
He will appear at Manchester Magistrates Court on Monday.
The collision that took place in Europa Way on Thursday evening injured seven people who were taken to hospital for treatment. One of the casualties, 19-year-old Sophie Louise Smith from Radcliffe, died on Friday afternoon.
