TWO Davyhulme youngsters took their inspiration from an iconic logo which emerged after the Manchester Arena Bomb attack last year to design an Easter egg.
Harry Patterson, aged seven, and his best friend Theo Coller, aged eight, who attend Woodhouse Primary School, entered the Manchester Bee as their image for the school’s design an egg competition.
Harry’s mum Julie said: “They are the best of friends and when this competition came up at school they decided to create a design together. I was very touched and proud of both their ingenuity and creativity.”
Woodhouse Primary School head Julie O'Connor said: "We are delighted to see our pupils Harry and Theo using our annual egg decorating competition to show their pride in our city and its people.
"The final judging hasn't taken place yet but I'm sure they have a great chance of a prize!"
