THREE people have been charged following a hate crime on a tram and two assaults in Trafford.
At around 8.45am on Tuesday June 28, police were made aware of a video showing a hate incident on a tram travelling towards Manchester city centre.
Later that day, two assaults took place at Pomona Strand and Bridgewater Way.
Aaron Cauchi, 19, of Brydon Close, Salford, has been charged with two public order offences and assault.
Robert Molloy, 20, of no fixed address, has been charged with racially aggravated assault, two further assaults and a public order offence.
A 16-year-old from Pendleton, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has also been charged with two public order offences and assault.
All three have been bailed to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates' Court on November 8.
